From the Music Director at Glendale Elementary School I am a HUGE fan of handbell music. I direct the children’s choirs at my church of grades K-6. We ring choir chimes and handbells. This will be a wonderful treat for our students at Glendale! Glendale is very excited about your performance at our school on the 16th! Most of the classes are doing choir chime chords and pieces now to prep their interest for your performance. Monday, May 16th, 2005

The March 12th concert of the advanced choir's Scotland "preview" went beautifully! The Lord provided faithfully for our needs. The choir rang an hour-and-a-half program on top of two practice sessions that day totaling six hours of ringing in one day. Congrats, young people! We're proud of you!!! March 5th, 2004 A Special Thank-You! Dear Holly, Christa, students, and parents: Thank you so very much for bringing your wonderful handbell choirs out to our program on Friday, March 5th. We were very impressed with how skilled all the children were when performing their various songs; and we could tell from their enthusiasm that they truly enjoyed playing for us. The clients and staff of Indian Creek Industries thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Your concert was truly a gift to us, as we rarely have such talented performers come to us. It was a special opportunity for everyone at our work program to be able to enjoy at their own level. We loved the rich variety of songs you performed from the funny to the spiritual, and your solo singers touched us with their beautiful songs. We are so appreciative that all of you took the time from your busy schedule to come and perform for us. Thank you so very much. We wish all of you a wonderful and safe trip abroad and look forward to attending future performances. December 12, 2003 The concert program will include Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Handbell Choirs and Vocal Ensemble. Our choirs consist of home-educated students ranging in age from 6-18.
November 21, 2003 A Note of Thanks! Dear Holly and Christa, Thank you so much for blessing our school with your wonderful handbell choirs. I have never heard (our)students applaud as enthusiastically as they did for your performing groups. The Lord has truly blessed you both with a talent for working with young musicians and I pray that you will continue to use that talent for as long as He allows. I am looking forward to hearing your groups in the future. Please pass along my heartfelt thanks and congratulations to your students and please wish your senior ringers the best of luck in their trip to Scotland (good luck to both of you as well!).
