The total you receive is basically the number of pages in your textbook divided by 36 (36 weeks of five school days each are equal to 180 days). If you receive a decimal number, the best thing to do is to have your student do more in the beginning of the year and slow down as the school year comes to a close. The reason for this is that the work is easier in the beginning of the year, and the children are fresh and eager to learn. At the end of the school year they just want to be done. For example, if you come up with 8.8888 pages per week from a 320 page book, do 9 pages for the first 32 weeks and 8 pages per week for the remaining 4 weeks. |
